Join our team as a Shipping Clerk and be at the center of our fast-paced operations. We are looking for a motivated, detail driven professional who enjoys staying organized and keeping things moving. In this hands-on role, you will coordinate outbound shipments, handle packaged poultry products, and help ensure every order moves out accurately, efficiently, and on time while supporting our commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
Schedule :
Monday through Saturday, 3pm - 12 am or 4pm - 1am.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare shipping documents (BOL's, invoices, labels).
Coordinate with shipping carriers and production teams.
Ensure accurate product labeling and packaging.
Maintain shipping records and databases.
Collaborate with customer service and sales teams as needed.
1+ year experience in shipping or logistics regulations (e.g., USDA, DOT).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Education and Experience
High School or equivalent is beneficial but not required.
When in a plant environment:
Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
May handle products from 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 dB to 110 db.
May be exposed to dust, feathers and all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.
You must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
Occasional exposure to carbon dioxide vapors 10ppm and chlorine less than 20 ppm.
Able to stand for several hours.
Work may include lifting (up to 50 lbs.), reaching, bending, pushing boxes on conveyor assembly.
