What you will doPrepare patients for catheterization, angioplasty and pacemaker implantations.
Assist physician in the catheterization, angioplasty and pacemaker implantations processes.
Keep patients calm and relaxed during procedures where they’re required to be awake.
Administer appropriate medicine when needed.
Perform proper after procedure care.
Check vital signs of the patient with proper care.
Provide education about medications and care to the patients and families before the discharge.
Education Qualifications- Associate's Degree in Nursing. (ADN) Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. (BSN) Required
- Master's Degree in Nursing. (MSN) Preferred
- Critical care experience Preferred
- Previous Interventional Cath Lab nursing Preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work with patients, families, physicians and other health care providers with a high level of customer service orientation required.
- Must be proficient in using Electronic Health Record (EMR) for patient-level care and coordination.
- Must possess excellent verbal communication skills.
- Must have ability to collaborate with others to improve quality and address needs.

- South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation with South Carolina Board of Nursing Required - Basic Life Support Certified
- American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire. Recertification every two years is Required - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certified
