Job Schedule:
Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and sensitive areas, verify credentials when appropriate, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities according to site protocols.
- Support hospital and clinic operations by assisting with security-related calls for service, de‑escalation efforts, and coordination with staff and first responders when needed.
- Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
- Possess an armed guard card/license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
