Aerial Saw Pilot Position Overview

Our company is seeking highly skilled and experienced MD500 pilots with long‑line expertise and a demonstrated commitment to safety. The successful candidate will perform aerial saw operations while adhering to the highest standards of operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

• Safely operate MD500 helicopters in low‑level wire environments conducting aerial saw operations.
• Execute external load operations in complex wire environments with accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate effectively with ground crews to ensure seamless project execution.

• Current FAA Commercial Rotorcraft‑Helicopter Certificate
• Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate
• Minimum of 2,000 total helicopter flight hours
• Proven external load experience, including at least 200 hours operating in wire environments
• Demonstrated experience operating MD500 helicopters
• Ability to successfully complete a company interview and checkride
• Pass a pre‑employment drug screening
• Pass comprehensive pre‑employment background checks, including criminal and driving record reviews

• Current Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate or documented flight instruction experience
• Previous experience in utility operations or aerial saw operations
