Staff Accountant

• Support the financial stability and growth of the company
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions
• Maintain effective financial controls
• Provide insightful reporting and guidance to internal stakeholders and franchisees
• Handle general ledger accounting and accounting for the company fiduciary funds
• Assist with monthly close by completing journal entries, account reconciliations and other related tasks
• Engage in ad hoc projects assigned on an as-needed basis

• Associates or Bachelor Degree in business, accounting or finance, or equitable experience
• Experience with accounting software, Great Plains a plus
• Understanding of GAAP and financial statements
• Excellent analytical, GL research and problem‑solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast‑paced environment.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivots, lookup)
• Experience with AI and PowerBI, a plus
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Demonstrates expertise in financial management, including general ledger accounting, GAAP compliance, and financial reporting. Proficient in advanced Excel functions and capable of providing analytical insights to support decision‑making.
