Overnight Automotive Detailer

Car Max is hiring an Overnight Automotive Detailer to recondition and prepare vehicles to our high retail standards. Working overnight in our climate-controlled shop, you'll wash, vacuum, buff, wax, and clean interiors and exteriors, apply dressings, and perform basic cosmetic touch-ups following detailed checklists. You'll safely move vehicles, use detailing tools and chemicals, and document completed work in our systems. In this collaborative, customer-focused environment, you'll receive training, clear procedures, and opportunities to grow into advanced reconditioning or technician roles within a stable, nationwide brand.

Responsibilities

• Clean and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors to Car
• Max standards
• Follow reconditioning checklists and quality procedures
• Safely move and stage vehicles in and around the facility
• Use buffers, vacuums, extractors, and cleaning chemicals correctly
• Inspect vehicles for cosmetic defects and report issues
• Document completed work in company systems or forms
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all safety, PPE, and chemical-handling guidelines
• Work overnight shifts and meet productivity targets
• Collaborate with reconditioning and sales teams to meet deadlines
