Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Estimator to prepare cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects with a focus on underground utilities & structures. The estimator will review project plans, gather pricing, and develop accurate bids to support winning contracts.
Responsibilities
- Analyze project plans and specifications.
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing.
- Work with project managers and engineers to develop bids.
- Solicitation of subcontractor and supplier quotes.
- Maintain estimating databases and documentation.
- Participation in the production of draft content for written proposals.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
- 2-5 years’ experience estimating heavy civil construction projects preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
Location: Georgetown, Texas 78626, United States
Salary: $90,000.00 – $ USD per year.
