Job Description
At Bio Life, we know that flexibility matters—especially for those balancing multiple commitments. This role is truly part-time, with most shifts lasting between 4 to 6 hours a day, 3+ days per week, designed to fit your life.
- We’ll confirm your availability and shift days and times early in the interview process.
- Because we value open communication, you’ll always be informed about any schedule changes in advance.
- Our patients depend on the plasma we collect, so your reliability during your scheduled hours is greatly valued. Our part-time roles are designed with flexibility on both sides.
- Answer phones, greet and focus on our donors, ensuring the safety of donors and our team.
- Screen new and repeat donors and take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
- Use our Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
- Help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company-approved procedures.
- Be available for a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
- Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
- Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
- Because of potential exposure to blood borne pathogens (risk level
1), 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear. - 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.
Starting hourly wage: $17.00. Eligible for up to 80 hours of sick time per calendar year;
