Retail Sales Associate- Part-time

Brookwood in Georgetown (BiG) is a dynamic Christian non-profit vocational program for adults with special needs. Our mission is to celebrate and empower our Citizens through meaningful work. We are looking for an individual with a passion for special needs adults to join our Cafe team to supervise our citizens as they work in our cafe.

College degree is preferred and at least one year of experience with special needs adults is required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for safety and well-being of our adults with special needs as they work in the kitchen and cafe.
• Creates a meaningful, positive work environment for our Citizens.
• Adapts the environment to set our Citizens up for success.
• Works along with the Cafe Manager and Cafe staff to provide an excellent guest experience including serving customers and maintaining a clean environment.
• Runs the register and maintains a balanced cash drawer.
• Make specialty coffee drinks.

Job Type: Part Time (Mon‑Thu 8:15‑3:15)

Required experience:

At least one year of experience with adults with special needs.
