Starting Salary:
Teacher Salary Scale + $4500 Stipend
AIMES supports elementary students with significant behavioral challenges through direct instruction in self-awareness, self-monitoring, and social skills. The goal is to help students develop behaviors needed for success in school and beyond. Services range from structured, self-contained settings to general education classrooms, with a focus on behavior, academics, and social growth. Supports may include social skills instruction, restorative practices, and low student-teacher ratios for individualized support.
Placement and services are determined by the ARD committee based on individual needs.
The State Board for Educator Certification will require all first time applicants for an initial credential to be fingerprinted as part of a national criminal background check.
