Early Childhood Teacher, GT School

Traditional schools ask, "What should a six-year-old know?" ool, we ask instead: "What is this six-year-old capable of?" Gifted students ool advance at their own pace rather than waiting for the curriculum to reach them. They work through years of academic content using AI-powered instruction, spending the remainder of their day building the confidence, communication skills, resilience, and leadership needed to complement their intellectual gifts.

Your responsibility is not lesson delivery. It is guiding exceptional young learners to develop the habits and character that allow their abilities to thrive.

You will guide a single K-3 cohort band: either Kindergarten-1st grade or 2nd-3rd grade. Half of each day involves leading dynamic workshops focused on life skills such as public speaking, focus, feedback, and leadership. The other half centers on individualized and small-group coaching, drawing on learning analytics to ensure every child advances toward challenging weekly targets. Many of these students would not yet qualify as gifted by traditional school standards.

They require only an environment unwilling to impose limits on their achievement.

This position is full-time and on-site ool's Georgetown, Texas campus, located just outside Austin. We recruit across the country, so job boards may list this role in nearby cities without a gt.school campus. Relocation support is available for outstanding candidates.

• Facilitate interactive life-skills workshops designed to help gifted K-3 learners build communication, focus, leadership, resilience, and other enduring competencies through active engagement rather than passive instruction.
• Provide one-on-one and small-group coaching, leveraging Coachbot analytics, established motivation frameworks, and meaningful relationships to ensure every student moves toward ambitious weekly learning objectives.
• Evaluate life-skill competency using gt.school's Test2
  
  Pass approach, continuing to coach students until they show true understanding and consistent application.
• Tailor your coaching methods to meet the developmental realities of your cohort, blending creativity and playfulness with remarkably high standards for what young children can achieve.
• Cultivate relationships that encourage gifted students to take on challenging tasks, persevere through obstacles, and build character that matches their cognitive potential.

• Teaching academic content from the front of a classroom. Core academic subjects are delivered through adaptive, AI-powered platforms.
• Constraining gifted learners to conventional grade-level benchmarks.
• Developing curriculum from the ground up. You will customize established playbooks rather than designing lessons from zero.
• Passively monitoring students during independent work periods. Your contribution lies in coaching, motivating, and developing each individual child.
• Reducing expectations when learners face difficult tasks. You will support students in meeting ambitious goals rather than lowering the standard.

• Bachelor's degree accompanied by a personal history of exceptional academic achievement.
