• Facilitating small-group phonics workshops for gifted K-2 learners, designing each lesson from live student data rather than scripted materials
• Conducting running records, evaluating reading levels, and creating differentiated instructional groups based on your own assessment
• Leading 1:1 and small-group coaching sessions that use school currency, leaderboards, and relational connection to inspire ambitious goals in adaptive platforms
• Monitoring real-time learner progress in adaptive software and adjusting instruction as soon as data shifts

• Delivering whole-class lectures. Learning happens through self-directed apps, not traditional instruction
• Overseeing 25+ students. You support small cohorts of gifted children
• Adhering to district pacing calendars or preparing students for standardized assessments
• Teaching content outside literacy (no math, science, or social studies responsibilities)
• Drafting IEPs, attending committee meetings, or managing school district administration

Drive years of reading advancement in a condensed timeframe for gifted K-2 students by combining adaptive technology with expert phonics instruction.

• Master's degree in reading instruction OR reading certification (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson Reading System, CERI, LETRS, or equivalent). Science of Reading coursework by itself does not satisfy this requirement.
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• Minimum 2 years providing small-group early literacy instruction to K-2 learners
• Demonstrated experience assessing reading levels, establishing instructional groups, and creating differentiated instruction independent of pre-packaged curricula
• Direct experience teaching gifted or high-ability children (gifted & talented programs, academic enrichment camps, or specialized schools)
• Comfortable using AI/adaptive learning platforms and capable of analyzing student performance data
• Available to work in-person at the GT campus in Georgetown (Austin), TX. Relocation assistance provided.
• Legally authorized for U.S. employment without need for visa sponsorship

• Advanced Orton-Gillingham or multisensory structured literacy training beyond foundational certification
• Familiarity with adaptive reading platforms (e.g., Lexia, Raz-Kids, or comparable K-2 tools)
• Proven success coaching learners performing well above grade-level expectations
• Experience leveraging student data dashboards to inform daily teaching decisions
