Mechanical Validation Engineer

About the Role

In this position, the Mechanical Validation Engineer will contribute to both the Mechanical Platform level hardware validation of Sanmina-ZT server platforms. The role involves working with cross‑functional teams to aid in developing and executing test plans that verify product hardware functionality, adherence to mechanical specifications and product requirements. The engineer will aid in debugging, identify root causes, and resolve issues as they occur.

• Interface with architecture, design, platform, firmware, and system engineering process
• Aid in test specifications, requirements, strategies, and methodologies
• Efficiently execute test plans to meet time‑to‑market requirements
• Understand how systems work and be able to identify defects and issues
• Confidently describe test procedures and issues to internal and external stakeholders
• Track and aid in documenting and summarizing test results and collaborating in automation efforts for validation

• A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, System Engineering, or equivalent
• 0‑2+ years of working knowledge in systems in a mechanically focused test or validation setting
• Ability to aid in scripting for testing and debugging purposes
• Ability to provide clear report findings
