Environmental Engineer
We are recruiting a Civil Market Leader for our Austin, TX team. This role is suited for professionals ready to advance their career in client relationships and business development, expanding an established and growing presence.
This role will help grow our water and transportation offerings, extend our reach into nearby communities, cultivate new clients, enhance existing relationships, and support long‑term market growth.
Primary Responsibilities- Lead growth initiatives for the Water and/or Transportation service lines within the Austin market, including development of statements of qualifications, proposals, and presentations
- Conduct contract negotiations and engage in professional organizations, advertising, and conferences to elevate brand presence
- Support and implement opportunity pursuit strategies to increase win rates
- Identify, research, qualify, and track potential leads
- Participate in industry events and associations to stay ahead of market trends
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align goals and achieve business growth
- Conduct or support market research as needed
- Oversee client satisfaction activities and partner engagement efforts
- Maintain business development SOPs, guidelines, and strategies related to opportunity pursuit and processing
- Interpret and respond to RFQ/RFP/RFI criteria and selection processes
- Develop strategies for proposal production and assign/schedule resources to ensure timely, high‑quality submittals
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas
- Demonstrated experience developing proposals and coordinating pursuit presentations in the civil engineering consulting industry
- Minimum five years of experience managing civil engineering projects and client relationships
- Minimum five years working within a civil engineering consulting environment
