Your Job
As a Project Engineer, you will lead and support strategic manufacturing initiatives that improve operational performance, drive cost savings, and enhance productivity across the site. You will partner with operations, engineering, quality, supply chain, and leadership teams to execute projects from concept through implementation while identifying opportunities to create long-term value for the business. You will play a key role in supporting Monarch initiatives, manufacturing technology advancement, and continuous improvement efforts.

This team works closely with manufacturing, maintenance, quality, and site leadership to implement solutions that improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while supporting future business growth.
What You Will Do- Support and possible lead product transfer project initiatives that align with site and business objectives.
- Manage and maintain cost savings project templates, tracking mechanisms, and project documentation.
- Coordinate site-specific tooling activities, including tooling improvements, new tooling implementation, and tooling optimization projects.
- Support AI-enabled manufacturing initiatives by evaluating, testing, and implementing technologies that improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
- Develop and execute project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and implement process improvement opportunities.
- Monitor project progress, communicate status updates, and mitigate risks to ensure successful project execution.
- Analyze manufacturing data to identify opportunities for productivity improvements, waste reduction, and cost savings.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean manufacturing and problem-solving methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, or related field).
- Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, or project management activities in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience managing capital, tooling, or manufacturing improvement projects.
- Exposure to AI, automation, digital manufacturing, or Industry 4.0 technologies.
- Experience with project tracking, cost savings reporting, and financial analysis.
Knowledge of machining, molding, plating, and manufacturing processes, tooling design, and production operations. - Experience using CAD and ERP systems such as Creo and SAP.
