Position

Phlebotomist – Georgetown, TX (78626).

Schedule:

Monday – Thursday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm (additional hours or rotating Saturdays may be requested as needed).

Responsibilities
  • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
  • Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Process billing information and collect payments when required.
  • Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
  • Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
  • Provide superior customer service to all patients.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
  • Travel to additional sites when needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical or hospital environment.
  • 1+ years of experience assisting all patient groups (pediatric to geriatric).
  • Current or prior Labcorp experience.
  • Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency (in lieu of work experience).
  • Ability to pass a standardized color vision test.
  • Flexibility to work overtime; able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Exceptional customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Incentives and Benefits

Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Benefits for regularly scheduled employees (20+ hours/week) include:
