PositionPhlebotomist – Georgetown, TX (78626)
Work ScheduleMonday – Thursday 7:30am to 5:30pm (additional hours / rotating Saturdays may be requested as needed)
Responsibilities- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other testing as required
- Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
- Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
- Travel to additional sites when needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical or hospital environment
- One or more years of experience assisting all patient groups (pediatric to geriatric)
- Current or prior Lab Corp experience
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Ability to pass a standardized color vision test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
We are seeking a Phlebotomist to work in our client’s office setting. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and represent the company professionally. There are opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.
Incentive ProgramPhlebotomists may be eligible for participation in a quarterly incentive plan based on performance metrics.
