Emergency Room Nurse in Georgetown, Texas. This position involves providing critical care in a busy emergency department in a community-focused healthcare setting. The role requires flexibility, teamwork, and proficiency in emergency procedures, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.

• Required Qualifications:
  
  Valid nursing license, Candidates must have either one year of emergency department experience and certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), or relevant equivalent.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Two years of emergency department experience, familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as Meditech, and experience with procedures like cardioversion, TNK administration, and moderate sedation.
• Additional Information:
  The emergency department at this facility is a certified primary stroke center and Level IV trauma center, recognized for exemplary patient care. The team thrives on a positive, collaborative culture with dedicated nurse staff, including continuous staff support through unique self-scheduling practices. The unit values team players who are flexible and maintain a friendly, upbeat demeanor. Dress code requires navy blue scrubs.
