Qualification:

B.S or M.S degree in Computing/Data/Data Science related field from top universities in US.

• Knowledge of large scale data engineering and management responsible for delivering data migration initiatives.
• Understanding of Cloud technology (preferably AWS- EC2, S3, Lambda, EMR, ECS, API Gateway, GLUE) and Big Data platforms (Hadoop
  - Sqoop, Hue, Impala, Hive, Hbase)
• Knowledge of Modern Data Management and Architecture skills to manage and process complex datasets across multiple sources.
• Knowledge of large scale Big Data and AI/ML platform engineering with recent coding experience in one or more of the following languages:
  Java, Python, Scala
• Modern Data Platforms - Expertise in data storage concepts and structures (relational/non-relational databases, data lakes, etc.)
• Knowledge of platforms as consumable data services across the organization using Big Data tech stack.
• Strong teamwork focus and the ability to foster collaboration within and across teams

• Participate in full app life-cycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test and release of the applications
• Work with product teams on new product ideas, designs, prototypes and estimates.
• Keep up-to-date on current and upcoming features in relevant products and platforms.
• Drive a best practices approach to the continuous improvement of our products, processes, and tools.
• Write and maintain documentation for all features in development.
• Utilize software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers in the software development process
• Consult with customers about software system design and maintenance.
• Collaborates and adds value through participation in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions
• Provides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques
• Performs technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problems
• Serve as a mentor to less experienced software engineers
