Overview
Reporting directly to an IT Manager, responsible for assisting in the maintenance of specific technology systems and/or applications. Level I of II in IT Specialist.
Responsibilities- Assists with implementation, support, troubleshooting and testing of IT systems within functional area(s)
- Supports users with software and/or hardware issues within functional area(s)
- Works with other IT team members, and other county departments, to design effective and efficient procedures and controls to meet requirements
- Provides training to departmental users on information systems and assists in creating training procedures and documentation within functional area(s)
- Creates reports and ad-hoc data queries
- Provides Tier 1+ troubleshooting for courts and justice application issues
- Creates documentation for IT and end users
- Manages on/off boarding of users of IT systems within functional area(s)
- Manages support requests and new feature testing and implementations
- Attends all meetings and trainings, as required
- Performs special duties as assigned

- Position involves prolonged sitting at a workstation, visual examination of documents, reaching, walking, twisting, bending, standing and occasional lifting/carrying
- Work is primarily indoors in an air-conditioned environment
- Regular travel between work sites as required
- Work outside of the normal office hours (Monday – Friday) may be required
- May be deemed essential personnel in the event of an emergency
- Regular attendance is required

Education and Experience- Vocational/technical diploma or certificate and two (2) years of job-related experience; OR three (3) years of job-related experience
- Working knowledge of specific job-related technology
Required within thirty (30) days of employment
- Valid driver’s license
- Bachelor s degree in a related field
- Working knowledge in all areas of technology software, hardware, data, methodologies, frameworks, and infrastructure
