Network Engineer - Locals

3-month contract (with possible extension)

Background Requirement: Must be able to pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) background check upon hire.

Citizenship:
Must be eligible to work in the US on an ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.

Interview Process: 1 virtual, 1 onsite REQUIRED

The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and comfortable working onsite in an enterprise/public-sector setting.

• Support the daily operations of the enterprise network infrastructure
• Perform hands-on switching and routing tasks, including:
• VLAN configuration and updates
• Port configurations and changes
• Troubleshooting network connectivity and performance issues
• Respond to and resolve network incidents and break/fix issues
• Assist with network readiness and troubleshooting related to building or infrastructure changes
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and stakeholders across departments
• Follow established network standards, change management, and documentation practices

• Routing & Switching: Cisco
• Wireless: Meraki (experience preferred but not required)
• Firewalls / VPN / Network Security: Managed by a separate team

• 3–5 years of experience in a Network Engineer or Network Administrator role
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching in a production environment
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
• Experience working onsite in enterprise or public-sector environments
• Ability to obtain CJIS clearance (background and fingerprinting required)
