AtWork Personnel is partnering with a growing client in the manufacturing and distribution industry to hire an experienced Senior Materials Manager. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a systems-driven supply chain professional who thrives in fast-paced, scaling environments.
In this role, you will oversee procurement strategy, inventory management, fulfillment operations, and supply chain planning across multiple sales channels including Amazon FBA, direct-to-consumer, and wholesale distribution. The ideal candidate will bring strong ERP expertise, advanced analytics capabilities, and a proactive approach to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing team responsible for
end-to-end raw material and finished goods availability
. - Omnichannel Excellence: Execute replenishment strategies across all channels, with a specific focus on
optimizing the Amazon FBA inventory lifecycle
(pre-positioning, compliance, and performance metrics). - S&OP Ownership: Lead the
Sales & Operations Planning process, ensuring perfect alignment between demand forecasts and supply realities. - Systems Innovation: Act as the
internal champion for SAP S/4
HANA
, leveraging
SAP Analytics Cloud or Power BI to create resilient, scenario-based planning models. - Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify supply chain bottlenecks and implement
robust contingency plans to ensure operational continuity. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, and eCommerce to
synchronize inventory with high-impact product launches and seasonal surges.
- Education:
Bachelor’ s degree required
; MBA or Master’ s in Supply Chain/Operations is a significant plus. - Experience: 7+ years in supply chain management, ideally within
Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or high-volume distribution. - Certifications:
APICS (ASCM) CPIM or CSCP strongly preferred. - Amazon Expertise: Proven track record of managing
Amazon Seller Central and FBA operations at scale. - Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of
ERP systems (SAP S/4
HANA preferred) and data visualization tools (
Power BI/Tableau

Exceptional communication skills and the ability to
navigate ambiguity during periods of rapid digital transformation.
