We are seeking a Criminal/Family Associate Attorney to become a part of our team. The perfect candidate will enjoy being in the courtroom, be comfortable with great responsibility, and be eager to get started. The salary for this position is 100% contingent on a percentage of the fees obtained on cases provided by the Firm. The Firm's contributions shall also include, but are not limited to, Texas Bar dues, Continuing Legal Education, private office, a healthy caseload, a dedicated paralegal, and access to Lexis and law management practice software.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in court
• Prepare and draft family and criminal pleadings
• Investigate and organize cases
• Negotiate settlements
• Litigate in criminal and family trials
• Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law

Qualifications: (must have)

• TX Bar License in Good Standing
• Great sense of humor
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility and Creativity
• No experience necessary
