Compal USA Technology Inc. is seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Supply Chain Analyst to support end-to-end supply chain planning and execution for our rapidly expanding AI server manufacturing operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring materials, production schedules, and supply chain resources are aligned to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory, manufacturing capacity, and operational efficiency.
The Supply Chain Analyst will leverage data analytics, forecasting, ERP systems, and cross-functional collaboration to identify supply chain risks, improve planning accuracy, and support data-driven decision-making across Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, Logistics, and Operations.
The ideal candidate has experience in high-volume manufacturing, strong analytical capabilities, and a passion for continuous improvement within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Supply Chain Planning & Analysis- Analyze demand forecasts, inventory levels, supplier performance, production schedules, and material availability to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
- Evaluate supply chain data to identify trends, risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Develop recommendations that improve supply chain performance, inventory efficiency, and production continuity.
- Support strategic planning initiatives through data modeling and operational analysis.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously optimize the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to align customer demand with manufacturing capacity.
- Coordinate production priorities based on material availability, labor capacity, equipment utilization, and customer commitments.
- Monitor schedule adherence and recommend adjustments to maximize throughput and minimize production disruptions.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI), engineering changes, and production ramp-up activities.
- Analyze historical demand, customer forecasts, and sales trends to develop accurate demand plans.
- Balance customer demand with production capacity, labor resources, equipment constraints, and supplier capabilities.
- Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities to support long-range planning and operational alignment.
- Identify capacity constraints and develop contingency plans to minimize operational risk.
- Monitor inventory health, safety stock, inventory turns, and excess or obsolete inventory.
- Analyze material consumption trends to optimize inventory investment while maintaining production continuity.
- Partner with Procurement and Warehouse teams to ensure timely material replenishment and inventory accuracy.
- Support cycle count analysis and inventory reconciliation efforts.
- Develop dashboards, scorecards, and executive reports utilizing Excel, SAP, Power BI, and other reporting tools.
- Monitor and report key supply chain performance indicators, including:
- Forecast Accuracy
- On-Time In-Full (OTIF)
- Schedule Adherence
- Inventory Turns
- Material Availability
- Supplier Delivery Performance
- Present analytical findings and actionable recommendations to management.
- Collaborate closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, Warehouse, Logistics, Finance, Sales, and Customer Service teams.
- Support resolution of material shortages, supplier delays, scheduling conflicts, and production constraints.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment on production priorities and customer requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, reporting capabilities, and overall supply chain efficiency.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with ERP enhancements, process automation, and implementation of best practices across the supply chain organization.
- Develop and maintain planning procedures, documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 3–7+ years of experience in Supply Chain Analysis, Production Planning, Master Scheduling, Demand Planning, Manufacturing Planning, or related supply chain functions.
