Role

Assurance Managers play a critical leadership role in managing client relationships while overseeing audit and assurance engagements to ensure high-quality work products are delivered in accordance with professional standards and firm policies.

  • Leading audit and assurance engagements, including resolution of complex accounting matters.
  • Performing detailed technical reviews of reports with full disclosures.
  • Reviewing and overseeing preparation, compilation, and review engagements.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
  • Coordinating internal and external resources to meet engagement timelines and client expectations.
  • Managing multiple engagements concurrently.
  • Reviewing and consulting on complex transactions.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing staff.
  • Delegating work effectively and ensuring performance standards are met.
  • Identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional firm services.
  • Adhering to firm policies and holding team members accountable.
What experience and skills do I need to be successful?
  • CPA required.
  • 8+ years of public accounting experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP, U.S. GAAS, and SSARS.
  • Strong technical review and analytical skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • Proven leadership and client relationship experience.
