Overview
Banking Center President (Full Time) – Georgetown, TX. Directs and administers the operational efforts of the branch, ensuring policies and procedures are followed and customers are served promptly and professionally. Leads branch staff and ensures branch efficiency, profitability, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Direct and supervise branch operations, including scheduling, workflow, security, and adherence to Bank policies and regulatory requirements.
- Open/close the branch, test security equipment quarterly, and maintain proper cash controls. Ensure all transactions balance daily and assist Tellers as needed.
- Cross-sell Bank services and implement changes to policies and procedures within the branch.
- Lead and supervise branch staff, providing coaching, training, performance management, staffing, and development.
- Maintain professional business relations with customers; handle inquiries and complaints; counsel customers on financial needs; acquire new business through sales calls.
- Coordinate with accounting, loan processing, and credit functions to ensure well‑aligned branch operations and prepare periodic activity reports with recommendations for improvements.
- Oversee commercial lending activities: interviewing applicants, reviewing documentation, evaluating loan requests, and coordinating with relevant committees. Follow up on matured loans and delinquent accounts as needed.
- Interact with Commercial Lending personnel and attend meetings/committees as required.
- Attend training to stay current on procedures; participate in safety, security, and sales training as appropriate.
- Lead and manage team through training, development, and coaching; set high performance standards; recognize achievements.
- Direct personnel management, including performance appraisals and development planning; determine staffing levels; ensure effective utilization of human resources.
- Approve leave and timekeeping; maintain payroll and attendance records.
Branch services delivered efficiently and in accordance with Bank policies; customer accounts maintained/expanded; high‑quality service, trained personnel, accurate reports, and well‑managed operations. Management is informed of area activities and issues; process improvements are implemented as needed.
QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Certification: Associate degree in business or related field, or equivalent training/experience.
Required Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of bank services/products; understanding of legal/regulatory requirements; familiarity with branch functions, policies, and procedures.
Experience: At least five years in a financial institution with a minimum of two years in supervision; at least five years lending experience; commercial lending experience required; real estate/origination background preferred.
Skills/Abilities: Strong interpersonal, leadership, and supervisory skills; well organized; proficiency with computer applications and business equipment; attention to detail; ability to maintain efficient workflow.

Language Ability: Read and prepare business letters, proposals, summaries, and reports; conduct training and make professional presentations.
