RequirementsCore Managers perform a variety of tasks, which may include planning for each shift, monitoring performance during the shift, taking action to ensure the team is meeting McDonald’s standards, monitoring safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to help prepare him/her to run a great shift, too. Core Managers may also be responsible for meeting targets during their shifts and for helping their assigned Departments meet their goals.
Asa Core Manager, You May Be Responsible For:
- Adhere to a fixed, consistent schedule
- Upholding professionalism and company standards
- Achieving operational targets
- Overseeing maintenance execution
- Managing tracking systems and checklists
- Proactively addressing daily operations
- Meeting daypart goals and identifying opportunities
- Executing responsibilities in core restaurant positions
- Leading customer recovery and engagement efforts
- Supporting training initiatives
- Attending weekly manager meetings
- Maintaining a guest-first and staff-first mindset
- Consistent punctuality
- Exceptional adherence to uniform and professional standards
- Positive and welcoming demeanor with both staff and guests
- Strong communication with restaurant leadership and staff, especially in supporting new hires
- Demonstrating the qualities of a role model, coach, and subject matter expert
- Deep understanding of and commitment to restaurant goals
Additional responsibilities may be assigned by management based on business needs.
Schedule Commitment- Breakfast:
Open – 2:00 PM - Mid: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Closing: 4:00 PM – Close
- Overnight: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Previous leadership experience is needed, within a restaurant. We’re looking for positive team players with a flexible schedule who like to have fun, with the passion to work the famously fast paced McDonald’s environment. You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned and operated restaurants.
