Position OverviewWe are looking for a Managing Partner who has the desire to make a real difference in people’s lives and wants to be a true business partner in a high‑growth, high‑performance organization. As the Managing Partner, you’ll be responsible for building and developing high‑performing teams through proactive recruiting, hiring, and coaching. You’ll manage the day‑to‑day operations by setting clear expectations, overseeing training standards, and driving performance to meet key business objectives. With a focus on member retention and experience, you’ll ensure timely resolutions, maintain a clean and fully operational facility, and keep the team aligned with daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
You’ll also oversee payroll, scheduling, inventory, and compliance—ensuring the club runs smoothly, profitably, and in alignment with our brand standards.
- Build a high performance team through networking, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring managers and team members.
- Responsible for the successful and profitable operations of a gym.
- Exceptional member experience with rapid issue resolution, high retention/satisfaction, and clean/crisp facility with all things working.
- Full business ownership—driving people, culture, financial results, margin optimization, and brand standards.
You lead with conviction and align teams around shared goals and help maintain engagement and direction across the team. You approach difficult decisions objectively while sustaining performance standards. You think ahead, address issues early, and perform well in fast‑moving environments. Motivated by meaningful goals and sustained challenges, you anticipate next steps, and create clarity around roles and accountability. You hold yourself and others accountable for results and continuous improvement.

- Build strong teams by networking, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring managers and team members.
- Direct management of team, including setting weekly management schedules and assigning areas of responsibility to managers.
- Oversee and maintain training standards and coach and develop team members to drive sales performance.
- Consistent development and coaching of team members and managers, including training in employment policies and practices.
- Conduct staff meetings and set staff goals.
- Growing the business to profitability and energizing the team around daily, weekly, and monthly objectives.
- Ensuring member resolutions are done timely as member retention is key.
- Monitoring scoreboard performance of the staff to meet or exceed expected KPI standards.
- Maintain a crisp, clean facility with equipment operating 100% of the time.
- Manage employee payroll and scheduling ensuring the club is adequately staffed at all times.
- Command of all offerings, amenities, and equipment utilization.
- Ensure and monitor compliance and accuracy with all policies, procedures, and standards.
- Monitor inventory in the club and ensure timely restocking.
- Minimum 4 years of fitness facility or service‑oriented management experience required.
- Demonstrated experience owning and managing a location or department profit & loss (P&L), including budgeting, expense control, and driving revenue to achieve or exceed financial targets.
