About The Role

The Assembly Operations, Sr. Production Manager is responsible for leading site server, rack assembly day-to-day operations, and End of line operations, ensuring that production delivery, quality, and cost metrics are met or exceeded. The Sr. Production Manager will focus on employee safety, productivity, quality, and training, typically supervising a team of 3+ managers, 6+ Supervisors, 20+ leads and 200+ production Talents.

Issue Resolution
  • Manage/escalate issues impacting the extended team and communicate to:
  • Peer Manager(s)
  • Manager
  • Customer PM(s)
  • NPI PM(s)
  • Process Improvement / 7S Leadership
  • Work with extended team to identify and execute process/tool improvements:
    • Manufacturing Engineering / Development Engineering
    • Maintenance Team
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, related discipline, and/or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
  • 10+ years of experience in a high‑complexity technology manufacturing environment with experience in project management, engineering, quality, manufacturing, and new product introduction
  • 8+ years of leading and mentoring technical and non‑technical teams
  • Lean manufacturing hands‑on experience
  • Possess a prominent level of integrity and strong work ethic
  • Ability to lead cross‑functional teams
  • Ability to simplify issues/direction and communicate verbally and in writing to all levels of employees
  • Ability to pull information together from numerous sources and consolidate it into a plan/direction for the organization
  • Ability to recognize and drive teams to perform continuous improvement within the team and across the organization
  • Ability to recognize issues and opportunities in an automated production environment and to organize and lead the teams to improve the equipment and processes
  • Must be able to effectively work with all members of the organization and lead cross‑functional teams to solve issues in a fast‑paced production environment
