Pegatron Technologies is seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety Coordinator to join our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team. The Safety Coordinator will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and overseeing safety programs to ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate standards. The primary goal is to foster a safe work environment within our high-volume technology manufacturing facility, preventing accidents through proactive audits, training, and risk assessment.

- Conduct regular safety audits, 6S inspections, and risk assessments of manufacturing processes and machinery to ensure compliance with OSHA and local regulations.
- Develop and deliver safety training sessions for new hires, production staff, and management, including hazardous material handling and emergency procedures.
- Investigate accidents, near-misses, and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Coordinate emergency response plans, fire drills, and safety drills, ensuring the maintenance of firefighting equipment.
- Identify potential hazards in the production environment (e.g., machine guarding, electrical safety, chemical exposure) and recommend effective, timely solutions.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date safety records, including incident reports, training logs, and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
- Promote a positive, proactive safety culture throughout the facility by engaging with employees and leading safety committee meetings.
- Oversee contractors' adherence to Pegatron safety policies while working on-site.
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2–4 years of safety experience in a manufacturing or electronic assembly environment.
- OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour card (General Industry) preferred.
- Strong understanding of OSHA standards, fire safety, and industrial hygiene.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for training and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
