Summary
Responsible for supporting inventory accuracy initiatives including cycle counting investigation, root cause analysis, and reconciliation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Track materials for engineering changes and balance outs to ensure minimal obsolescence.
- Perform scheduled cycle counting of raw material, components, and finished goods.
- Assist in plant organization to determine and label locations for raw material, components, and packaging. Assist as required in plant activities to achieve quality, productivity, and cost reduction goals.
- Attend APQP and other kick‑off meetings for new jobs. Release orders to vendors via EDI, e‑mail, or fax.
- Support plant annual physical inventory activity and investigate and adjust negative inventories daily.
- Perform all duties as requested by the Materials Manager.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures (e.g., quality policy manual, associate handbook, Level II procedures).
- Comply with all internal and OSHA‑required safety procedures.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping in assigned areas.

- Education and/or
Experience:
One year of college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination. - Language
Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations; write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; present information effectively and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public. - Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume; apply basic algebra and geometry; solve practical problems and interpret written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule instructions. - Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: APICS Certification C.P.I.M preferred.
