- Develop, optimize, and sustain manufacturing and brazing processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality, reduce costs, and improve productivity.
- Support production ramp-up, new product introductions (NPI), and process stabilization.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing and equipment issues on the production floor.
- Perform PFMEA and root cause analysis to identify and mitigate process risks.
- Develop and maintain work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on fixture design, tooling, and manufacturability improvements.
- Monitor manufacturing KPIs such as yield, cycle time, scrap, and equipment uptime.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with ISO quality standards and manufacturing best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering
, or equivalent experience. - 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment.
- Experience with brazing, welding, metal fabrication, or heat exchanger manufacturing
. - Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
, PFMEA, process optimization, and continuous improvement. - Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and production ramp-ups.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing tooling, fixtures, and production equipment.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Lean Manufacturing Certification.
- Experience with automation and manufacturing equipment.
- Background in HVAC, thermal management, aerospace, automotive, or industrial manufacturing.
- Knowledge of ISO quality systems and manufacturing standards.
