Work weekends and keep your weekdays free. Friday - Sunday, 6:00am - 6:00pm.
As a CPI Assembler/Packer, you will perform a wide variety of repetitive assembly of the company’s products into complete packages and/or sub-assemblies per engineering drawings and customer specifications. You will perform final inspection of product prior to shipment to customer, generate and place labels on packages, operate small production equipment, and install components. The Assembler/Packer II can rotate throughout the different functional stations of the assembly processes from Trape Frame to Mixed Model line to Cabling Section to Accessories, etc.
You are responsible for meeting safety, quality and productivity expectations.
- Under minimal supervision, selects, inspects, assembles and/or packages product for final shipment to customer. Applies labels and palletizes per specifications.
- Inspects and maintains workplace for compliance with safety requirements. Corrects any safety issue prior to performing operations.
- Requisition s packaging material from warehouse when necessary. Inspects material for shipping damage and/or supplier defects.
- Inspects product per finished goods inspection procedure. Informs Team Leader of any component that needs to be reworked or scrapped.
- Certifies that each product has completed Quality Assurance processes via Quality stamp.
- Works from blueprints, engineering specifications and production schedules.
- Continuously maintains a clean work area. Disposes of trash and production scrap. Assists in cleaning common areas.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

- High school, GED, or equivalent education required.
- Minimum of 3 years working in a Manufacturing/Industrial or related environment.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering specifications to properly select parts.
- Capable of using measuring devices to perform product inspection.
- Available and willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as production demand dictates.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, carrying, stooping, and crouching.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
