This position requires 10+ years of direct Industrial Engineering experience in Server EMS/ODM manufacturing
. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in factory layout, capacity planning, manpower planning, line balancing, standard time, and productivity improvement.
Experience supporting a new factory start-up, major site expansion, or aggressive production ramp is strongly preferred.
This is a senior factory IE role. The candidate must be able to understand operational questions from Plant Manager and Operations leadership, quickly identify the key data and constraints, and provide practical analysis and recommendations that can support management decisions.
Key Responsibilities:- Own factory capacity and manpower planning based on customer demand, product mix, shift model, cycle time, yield, and production efficiency.
- Develop and maintain headcount models for production and related operations, including direct labor, fixed-position labor, and supporting manpower.
- Lead time study, standard time, takt time, line balancing, and labor utilization analysis for server assembly, test, pack-out, and related production processes.
- Review actual production performance versus planned capacity and manpower, identify gaps, and drive improvement actions with Production and Engineering teams.
- Identify the real production bottleneck across labor, equipment, test capacity, material flow, layout, and process constraints
, and provide improvement proposals. - Plan and optimize factory layout, production lines, workstations, material flow, warehouse interface, WIP locations, and floor-space utilization
