Position: Advanced Practice Provider / Emergency Dept RN
Job Purpose:

The Advanced Practice Provider / Emergency Department RN at FAMILY HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT COMPANY LLC is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in the emergency department. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with acute and chronic conditions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive care to patients in the emergency department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

Perform advanced clinical procedures and interventions as required.

Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in accordance with hospital policies.

Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.

Participate in continuous professional development and training to stay current with medical advancements and best practices.

Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the emergency department.

Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff and nursing students as needed.

Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations and provide critical care when necessary.

Required

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent from an accredited institution.

Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification or equivalent advanced practice certification.

Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

Required Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an emergency department or acute care setting.

Proven track record of working effectively in high-pressure environments.

Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient care.

Required

Skills and Abilities:

Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other healthcare technologies.

Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development in emergency medicine.
