ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Georgetown, Texas.

Contract RN – Labor and Delivery

Location:

Georgetown, Texas

Assignment Duration: 13-week contract position.

Schedule:

Shift 19:00 – 07:00. On‑call requirements: CNC one weekend out of every six weeks;
Manager/Director holds all other call dates. Staff RNs/CST/Unit Clerks are not responsible for call unless already scheduled for a shift and being put on call.

Job : . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RN for our Labor and Delivery department. The ideal candidate will have experience in labor or postpartum care and be proficient in a variety of procedures related to maternal and newborn health. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during labor and delivery, as well as postpartum care.

Responsibilities
  • Manage patient care during labor and delivery
  • Provide postpartum care and education to mothers
  • Utilize equipment such as Alaris Pumps, Giraffe Warmers, and GE Fetal Monitors
  • Administer medications as necessary, including inductions and high‑risk patient management
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality care
  • Document patient information in EMR systems (GE Centricity/CPN & Meditech)
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Must have Labor or Postpartum Experience with in the last year
  • Preferred: LDRP experience (mother/baby, postpartum, OR circulator, NICU or special care nursery)
  • Certifications:

    NRP, ACLS, BLS required; STABLE preferred
  • NICU or Transition/Baby Catching experience is a plus
