Registered Nurse – PACU

$1591.20/week -

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in the outpatient surgery and PACU unit. This role requires pre-op and post-op experience, along with the ability to work efficiently during scheduled hours and call shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care to surgical patients.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth patient flow and safety.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in Meditech EMR system.
• Participate in call duty rotations, including on-call overnight shifts.
• Adhere to unit policies, dress code, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 1 year of nursing experience.
• Demonstrate prior experience in outpatient surgery, pre-op, or post-op settings.
• Possess ACLS certification.
• Exhibit strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Be team-oriented, flexible, and capable of working under pressure.
• Have reliable communication skills suitable for a fast-paced environment.
