Join our team at Machi Sushi Georgetown!
We’re hiring dependable, friendly Food Runners for full-time and part-time positions at $10 per hour.
Our all-you-can-eat sushi is made fresh to order. As a food runner, you’ll help get each dish to the right table promptly and work with our servers and kitchen team to give guests a great dining experience.
- Deliver food from the kitchen and sushi bar to the correct tables, announcing dish names as you serve them.
- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff about orders, guest requests, and anything that needs attention.
- Keep food pickup and service areas clean, organized, and stocked.
- Help teammates with dining room upkeep and assigned opening and closing duties.
- Dependable, punctual, and ready to work with a positive attitude.
- Friendly communication and a willingness to help guests and coworkers.
- Attention to detail, including learning our menu, recognizing dishes, and checking table numbers.
- Ability to follow directions, stay organized during busy service, and follow food safety procedures.
