About Radiation Detection Company (RDC)
Radiation Detection Company (RDC) designs and manufactures radiation detection and dosimetry technology. Radiant, our newest offering, is a real-time dosimetry service built for hospital environments with elevated occupational radiation exposure — cath labs, hybrid operating rooms, and other fluoroscopy-intensive areas. We're building the commercial team that will bring Radiant to hospital systems nationwide.
About the RoleThe Radiant SDR will identify, research, and develop new Radiant opportunities within targeted hospital IDNs. You'll help the team systematically penetrate complex hospital organizations by mapping accounts, identifying relevant stakeholders, creating engagement, and generating qualified opportunities for the Radiant Account Executive. This is a strong entry point into a healthcare sales career with a clear growth path toward Account Executive.
What You'll Do- Research target hospital IDNs and identify facilities, departments, and rooms with strong Radiant potential
- Map relevant decision-makers and influencers, including procurement leaders, cath lab managers, and Radiation Safety Officers
- Conduct outbound prospecting through phone, email, Linked In, and other appropriate channels
- Develop stakeholder-specific messaging using Radiant's established value proposition and sales playbooks
- Qualify prospective opportunities and schedule meaningful discovery meetings for the Account Executive
- Work with the AE and Director to develop account-specific penetration strategies
- Maintain accurate prospecting, contact, and opportunity-development information in the CRM
- Follow up on leads generated through RDC customer relationships, RFP activity, referrals, marketing, and industry events
- 1+ year of B2B sales, business development, or relevant customer-facing experience
- Healthcare or hospital sales experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Curiosity and the ability to research complex organizations and identify the right stakeholders to engage
- Organized, persistent, and comfortable working within a structured prospecting process
- Experience with CRM and sales prospecting tools preferred
- Interest in developing a career in healthcare sales
