** About the Role
** We are currently seeking candidates to fill a Security Associate position for our Georgetown, Texas facility on second shift (Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.).
** What You’ll Do
*** Assume responsibility for the safety and security of designated facilities at ZT Systems
* Perform Security checks/inspections at designated ZT facilities in accordance with outlined security procedures.
* Identify potential security risks and respond/report accordingly to ZT Security Manager
* Complete reports/send emails and required documentation for all security incidents.
* Prepare employee credentials for accessing buildings (s and passes)
* Respond to emergencies and incidents within designated ZT Facilities promptly and according to policy.
* Assist employees and visitors with any concerns they might have.
* Escalate emergency situations to law enforcement and ZT Security Manager as needed.
* Monitor alarms and security cameras for all ZT Facilities
* Perform nightly security closing procedures for arming and securing ZT facilities.
* Conduct video surveillance investigation requested by ZT Security Manager
** What You Bring
*** High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
* Must be at least 18 years old.
* Ability to pass a background check.
* Valid Security Level 2 license in State of Texas
* Previous security-related work experience preferred.
* Ability to stay levelheaded and respond quickly in stressful situations.
* Proficient written and oral communication skills
* Comfortable, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
* Ability to perform continuous physical exertion as needed.
* Working knowledge of basic security techniques
* Valid Texas Driver’s License
* Ability to travel to multiple locations within the Austin-Georgetown Metro area#LI-PW #LI-Onsite##
