Electrical Lighting Service Technician

Overview

Overtime Potential, Weekly Direct Deposit, 4 Year Apprentice School Eligible to be Paid For By Employer, Advancement Potential

• Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic lighting components.
• Reading contract drawings.
• Installing and mounting lighting controls, devices, sensors, and components.
• Safe operation of aerial lifts and bucket trucks.
• Testing lighting systems and continuity of circuits in fixtures, using testing devices.
• Diagnosing malfunctioning lighting systems and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Inspecting installation sites and studying work orders, building plans, and installation manuals in order to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.
• Trouble shooting EMS systems, smart breakers, and relays.
• Must have a good driving record to drive a company vehicle.

• Experience:
  
  Lighting Technician: 3 years (Preferred)
• License/Certification:
  • Texas Driver's License (Required)
  • TDLR License (Required)
