Industrial Generator Technicians

Overview

Our client has current openings for experienced Field Service Technicians with a strong background in commercial generators and ATS systems.

• Repair and troubleshoot engines including CAT, Cummins, Kohler, Generac, Detroit Diesel, and MTU
• Troubleshoot, repair, and program ATS systems
• Inspect, service, perform start-ups, and conduct load bank testing
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Complete job documentation accurately and on time
• Provide on-call services and participate in rotation as required

• 4+ years of commercial/industrial experience working on generators, engines, ATS, and controllers
• Experience across multiple OEM brands preferred
• Ability to travel overnight up to 20%
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
• OEM training, certification, and/or EGSA certification preferred

• 85% field-based work involving heavy equipment; 15% administrative tasks
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20-75 pounds
• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands
• Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling required
• Ability to wear PPE including protective glasses, gloves, and footwear
• Up to 10 consecutive hours of driving
• Ability to work long and unpredictable hours when required
