As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems in various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure all work meets the highest standards of safety and quality

Pay Range

$26 – $32 per hr

Qualifications of a Pipefitter
  • Proven experience as a pipefitter.
  • Strong knowledge of piping systems, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools used in pipe fitting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environments.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Certification or licensure as required by local, state, or national regulations.

Responsibilities of a Pipefitter
  • Assemble and install piping systems according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles using hand and power tools.
  • Secure pipes to structures with clamps, brackets, and hangers.
  • Inspect and test installed systems to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
  • Repair and maintain existing piping systems.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
