Our electrical division provides stand‑alone electrical construction services as well as installation of SCADA, automation, instrumentation, and control systems. You will construct electrical, instrumentation, and control systems in water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and associated facilities.

Job Description

TraC-n-trol is a Texas-based statewide systems integration company, seeking a panel builder for a municipal water/wastewater certified panel shop. Our services include design, project management, PLC & HMI programming, deployment, testing, and commissioning with some service and technical support for existing customers in the SCADA industry.

Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical assembly with a proactive, positive, and quality‑oriented attitude.
  • Read and understand assembly instructions for all machines.
  • Layout, cut‑out, and wire all panels and machines.
  • Stay on a scheduled timeline for panels and machines to be completed. Be willing to do what it takes to meet the deadlines, including working extra hours and/or weekends.
  • Train and mentor new employees on our electrical standards and instill quality in the work they perform.
  • Teardown and clean‑up equipment for shipment.
  • Load and unload equipment.
  • Assist in start‑up/test of machines.
  • Continuously work on improving the quality of the machines and panels’ electrical items.
  • Responsible for keeping the panel shop clean and organized.
Requirements
  • Problem solver; detail-oriented.
  • Experience with wiring or electronic assembly.
  • Ability to digest and explain technical data/information.
  • Ability to plan projects and follow timelines.
  • High‑school diploma or GED.
