Field Service Technician

Holt Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers with on-site equipment diagnostics, repair, and maintenance. In this role, you'll travel to client locations, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and complete preventive maintenance to keep machines operating safely and reliably. You will read schematics, use diagnostic tools, and document all work in service reports. Success requires strong technical skills, safe work habits, clear communication with customers, and the ability to work independently while representing Holt Group professionally in the field.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to diagnose and repair equipment issues
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections
• Document work performed, parts used, and time on site accurately
• Communicate findings and repair options clearly to customers
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and procedures
• Coordinate with dispatch and parts teams for efficient service
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and test equipment in good order
