Overview

King Global Ministries is a mission-driven STEAM nonprofit organization based in Austin, Texas. We restore human capacity under stress so people can reliably learn, work, and function after prolonged adversity.

Who We Serve Many adults impacted by long-term hardship are capable and motivated, yet struggle to consistently access their skills when pressure is high. When the body remains in survival mode, training, credentials, and effort alone are often not enough. Our work focuses on restoring regulation capacity first—the foundational condition that allows existing abilities, learning, and follow-through to function.

How We Serve We deliver inclusive, non-evangelistic, evidence-informed programs designed for broad public participation. Our integrated STEAM program portfolio includes Forest Rx, a nature-based capacity restoration program; W.I.L.D. Love Hiking, which supports applied learning and shame interruption once capacity is restored; access supports that address technology and math barriers; and arts-based initiatives that reduce shame and restore dignity at the community level.

Our Focus King Global Ministries does not provide therapy, treatment, or job training. Instead, we focus on upstream capacity restoration—creating the conditions that make learning, reliability, and participation in everyday life possible.

Love Adventure Ministry - a wellness program pairing hiking and green exercise with self-love principles. You will help create safe hiking adventures in Austin, TX, and nearby areas.

A Seasonal Hike Coordinator will be selected for each season of hikes (Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter). The Seasonal Hike Coordinator is responsible for designing the hike schedule and working with the Hike Planner to ensure a smooth-running hike season. Specific responsibilities include:

• Reporting the status of the Hike Plan to the Program Director.
• Creating a calendar for the 3 month season in collaboration with the Hike Planner.
• Ensure the hike calendar is reviewed, approved, and ready for distribution at least two weeks before the beginning of the new season.
• Tracking each hike and attendance during the season.
• Communicating any hike relocation or changes.
• On the day of the hike, help decide and announce any cancellation of the hike due either
  • Lightning or other weather emergency at the time of the hike.
  • Unforeseen difficulties with the hike, including missing permits or permissions.

• Organized, methodical, and reliable
• Aspiring or seasoned project manager
• Ability to follow directions
• Calm under pressure
• Share the same work/moral ethics as King Global Ministries
