Truck Driver CDL A Solo

Position Description

Class A CDL Truck Driver – Georgetown, TX. Drive a Class A truck and deliver freight across Texas.

• Weekly pay $1400 or more
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.54 per mile with  miles per week
• Solo Stops Pay: $24.00 per stop with approx. 15 stops per week
• Paid training
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, 6:00‑6:30 AM start
• Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days
• 80 hours PTO first year, starting Day 1 (use it or get paid for it)

• Drive a Class A truck operating a day cab with flatbed trailer.
• Deliver solo freight to destinations in Texas, with occasional layovers.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
• Detect and minimize safety hazards and maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load and unload freight or assist as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder drug test.
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide a valid Class A CDL and required endorsements.
• Class A verifiable experience as tractor–trailer operator: 9 months within the last 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
