Position Overview
Total Site Solutions (TSS) in Georgetown, TX, is seeking a dedicated Material Hadler. The Material Handler plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials within the warehouse and production environments. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products accurately and in a timely manner to support operational needs. The Material Handler will work closely with inventory control and shipping departments to maintain organized stock levels and facilitate smooth order fulfillment.
Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to prevent damage and ensure workplace safety. Ultimately, this role contributes to the overall productivity and success of the supply chain by maintaining seamless material movement and inventory accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and order picking.
- Ability to read and interpret barcodes and use warehouse management systems.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials safely.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or distribution warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with assembly line processes and support.
- Certification in forklift operation or other material handling equipment.
- Experience working with computerized inventory control systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work flexible hours including overtime.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks to move products safely within the warehouse.
- Perform order picking and packing duties accurately to prepare shipments for delivery.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and properly store materials in designated locations.
- Utilize warehouse management systems and barcode scanners to track inventory and update records in real time.
- Assist with assembly line support by supplying necessary materials and components as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to comply with safety and operational standards.
- Work overtime as needed to meet production and shipping deadlines.
