Accounting Manager – Stonecrest, GA – $105,000 - $115,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department including month‑end and year‑end close process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity, etc.
  • Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing financial reports or statements.
  • Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
  • Coordinating and completing annual audits.
  • Providing recommendations for improving systems and procedures and initiating corrective actions.
  • Assigning projects and directing staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Meeting financial accounting objectives.
  • Establishing and maintaining fiscal files and records to document transactions.
  • Qualifications
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role with strong inventory accounting.
    • Advanced General Ledger (GL) & Excel skills (pivot tables, V‑Lookups, etc.).
    • Strong understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.
    • Ability to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are used.
    • Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
    • BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
