CKH is seeking a junior accountant for our government accounting department.
Responsibilities- Assist local municipalities in identifying and resolving bookkeeping issues.
- Travel to client sites as needed across GA, SC, and FL.
- Reconcile bank and balance inter‑fund accounts.
- Ensure client is audit ready by reviewing trial balance and preparing the necessary PBC schedules for multiple clients.
- Great understanding of accounting (double entries).
- Solid communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and problem solve.
- Ability to work independently (self-starter).
- B.A./B.S. in Accounting.
- GASB and GAAP.
- 1+ year of experience.
